UniProtKB description:  Has metal-independent hemagglutinating activity towards erythrocytes from rabbit and human. Hemagglutinating activity is inhibited by glycoproteins fetuin, asialo-fetuin, thyroglobulin and azocasein but not by free carbohydrates. Inhibits ADP- and epinephrin-induced but not collagen-, fibrinogen, thrombin- or arachidonic acid-induced platelet aggregation in vitro. Has anticoagulant activity in vitro.
